Laurent Cassignol
Since taking over the reins of the winery in 2018, Laurent Cassignol has injected a new dynamic into both the vineyard and the cellar. The conversion of the entire estate to organic farming, the investment in new ageing methods and the creation of new red, white and rosé references are evidence of this renewal.
Our story
The Laurent Cassignol winery, located in the high Corbières in the heart of the Aude department, is a place rich in history and tradition. Founded at the end of the 18th century, it has undergone a number of changes over the centuries, including a shift towards exclusive winegrowing at the end of the 19th century following the phylloxera crisis. Run by the Cassignol family for several generations, the winery has weathered difficult times, including the untimely death of Pierre Cassignol during the First World War.

Nestling in the heart of the Hautes Corbières in the Aude, a region famous for its vineyards and rich Cathar heritage, lies a land full of charm and authenticity.
The Laurent Cassignol estate is set in a unique environment. Located in Villeneuve-les-Corbières, the family vineyard benefits from an exceptional terroir, plenty of sunshine and an altitude that’s ideal for growing vines.
