Relique. The pleasure of a light red wine! ‘What if we created a red summer wine for a change from the glass of rosé or white we drink in summer? A summer evening, some rosé, a few friends and the project was born… The challenge was launched, and the challenge taken up! In 2020, the first cuvée was released, awarded 2 stars in the Guide Hachette 2023! It’s called Relique, after our oldest working companion, our old Toselli caterpillar tractor, which is still in use. Vinified with indigenous yeasts, Relique belongs to the family of natural wines and has all the qualities of a natural wine. Fresh, lively and fruity, it faithfully embodies our terroir.
Growing & winemaking
Terroir : schist slopes
Cépages : cinsault, syrah, grenache noir, gris and blanc
Average age of vines : 70 years
Harvest : by hand
Yield : 25hl /Ha
Vinification : De-stemmed grapes; thermoregulation for Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache black, grey and white. Native yeasts.
Ageing : 6 months in stainless steel vat
Tasting
Nose : expressive nose dominated by red berries (redcurrant, cherry) with a floral note of jasmine
Palate : Very fresh on the palate with crisp tannins and a finish of pepper.
Serving temperature : 14°C
Food and wine pairing : eggplant parmigiana, risotto.
Awards : 2 stars in the Guide Hachette 2023 (Vintage 2020)

Demoiselles
AOC Fitou rouge
Red blended wine. Grenache noir, syrah, and carignan. Aged for 12 months in cement tanks. Notes of red fruits and garrigue. Soft tannins.
Louise
AOC Fitou rouge
Red blended wine. Grenache noir, syrah, and carignan. Aged for 12 months in cement tanks, followed by 4 months in barrels. Notes of red fruits, garrigue. Spicy finish.
Relique
IGP Vallée-du-Paradis
Red blended wine. Cinsault, syrah, grenache noir, gris, and blanc. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. Notes of small red fruits (currant, cherry), floral jasmine hint. Fresh attack and peppery finish.
Flo
IGP Vallée-du-Paradis
White blended wine. Grenache blanc, grenache gris, and macabeu. Aged in amphora. Balanced mouthfeel. Floral and mineral notes.
